What I Like

The first thing I like about the Veazy is the size and shape, it fits nice in my hand and is a good bit smaller in size than the Venty. So I'll give it an A in the portability department.

I would also rate it highly for its ease of use. It's got one button on it and it's easy to load and unload, there's really not much you can do wrong.

The last two things I would give it an A-rating in would be cleanliness and the smell or odor that comes from it. All of the buildup that's gonna occur is gonna be mainly inside the cooling unit, which you will not see until you take it apart to clean it. And during and after use there's really not much smell that comes off of it, there's no weird odor, so it's pretty discreet in that regard.

What's Just OK

That is where my list of good things ends, so now we'll move on to the stuff that I think is just okay.

Vapor production is alright, definitely not as much as the Venty but pretty on par with the Crafty and Mighty.

The strength or potency of the vapor is also pretty good, you're definitely gonna feel the effects from it after a full session.

The draw resistance or how hard it is to pull is also pretty on par with the Crafty and Mighty, but not as free flowing as the Venty. You also can't adjust the airflow with this one, but I don't really take off points for that, you can't do that either with the Crafty and Mighty, only with the Venty.

Efficiency is also decent, or how much you get out of the bud you put in. If you load it natively, the oven can hold about 0.2, 0.25g. If you use a dosing capsule, that can hold as little as 0.1, 0.15g. I do think that the end results or the effects that you get from it does match the amount of bud you're putting in.

And the last thing that I'd consider decent with it is the battery life. It does only have a single 18650 built in, but you can easily get a handful of sessions from that. And with such a small form factor, I think that's OK.

What's Not Good

Now we're gonna talk about what's not good with the Veazy, or things that I would rate it about a C in.

The first thing would be the smoothness of the vapor or how it feels when you're taking a draw, and it's not great. It kind of feels a little hot or harsh, not quite as good as the Crafty and Mighty, which really surprised me, and definitely not as good as the Venty.

And this is probably the thing that bugs me the most about it and what's gonna cause me to probably not use it that often, because the smoothness not being great, or the hotness of the vapor, then affects the taste or the flavor, which is also not great, which kind of sucks.

So pretty much one of the most important things about it, the performance and vapor quality, it's just not that good.

And the last thing I wanna talk about is the build quality, because it's also not great. One of the first things I noticed about it was that it kind of feels cheap, it does not feel as good as the Crafty, Mighty, or Venty.

I also noticed a rattling sound coming from inside the cooling unit, fresh out of the box before I even used it. The thing that threw me off the most about the build quality that I was not expecting is the misalignment of the shell of my unit. They still make these in Germany, by the way. What are we doing, guys?

Oh yeah, there is one last thing I don't like about it... the giant logo emblazoned on the side.

Final Thoughts

So overall, I definitely think they went in a weird direction with this one and not one that I was expecting. And I gotta tell you, it's pretty hard to hide my disappointment.

The Crafty has been my go-to portable ever since it came out 10 years ago, and I use my Venty almost every day.

I don't think they're going to, but it would be nice if they took a step back and reflected a little bit and maybe changed course for whatever they decide to come out with in the future.

So listen, if bought a Veazy there's definitely ways to get decent results out of it, but I still would recommend even the Crafty over this one if you have the choice.
